The ISFA Boot Camps are design focused with individualized attention given to each student while fostering floral education within a floral community. Each class is two 8 hour days filled with intensive learning, which combines: lecture, demonstrations, hands-on projects and critiquing of designs.

Typical Class Schedule
Creating the Everyday
Start off the Boot Camps by creating floral expressions that will boost your creativity and expand on the elements and principles of design . You will explore new ways to create sellable arrangements for birthdays, major holidays, and everyday designs, including a variety of rose creations.
On Trend Wedding Bouquets and Personal Flowers
Continue your Boot Camp journey by creating a wide range of bridal bouquet styles including cascades, wire and tape, composites, and hand ties, just to name a few. In addition, there will be focus on techniques and mechanics related to corsages, boutonnieres, floral jewelry, halos and other flowers to wear.
Celebrating a Life... Saying Goodbye
You will create sympathy pieces that will make a statement at any memorial services. Learn the newest trends in sympathy and ideas to help boost your funeral business. Workshop will include tropical flower care, cremation designs, easel sprays, plant designs and much, much more.
Art of the Party
Complete your Boot Camp design focused journey with “The Art of the Party”. In this wedding and event focus class, you will learn to create ceremony settings, and mechanics needed for large event installations. Experience different trending design styles and learn the techniques to create all the finishing touches. This class will cover intimate pieces to large table décor for events big and small!
Advanced Boot Camp
Pre-request: You must have finished all 4 Bootcamps before registering for this course.
This class feels like a mini floral family reunion for those who have completed all four Bootcamp classes. We have lots of ideas in the works, including guest instructors (TBA)

Refund and Cancellation Policies
The Illinois State Florists’ Association (ISFA) reserves the right to cancel an event (or partial event) due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
If ISFA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, ISFA has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
Transfer Policy: ISFA members may transfer the financial value of their registration to a co-worker for no charge if written notification (to [email protected]) is given 30 business days before the event – unless specifically stated on registration materials. After that point, the transfer service fee is $25.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be given with written notification (to [email protected]) outside of 30 business days before event. No refunds will be given within 30 business days of event; please plan accordingly.
